In designing the offices for The Permanent Mission of The People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the United Nations, it was critical that the space conveyed the Mission’s role as envoy to the world.  Our solution reflects Bangladesh as state in transition - deeply reverent of its rich history and sense of place, while embracing modernity and all its opportunities.

Contemporary materials, forms and detailing convey an elegant modern sensibility.  A laser-cut wooden wall serves as a modern take on traditional Islamic decorative motifs.  Rotating seasonal wall graphics reflect national festivals and holidays.

Folding walls and light modular furniture allow the offices to transform into an event space, hosting cultural celebrations

and press events.
