Kitchen and Living Area

A light-maximizing renovation of a floor-through loft in a Landmarked building

Our clients loved their Landmarked masonry loft building in Brooklyn's waterfront Fulton Ferry neighborhood, but the existing windows were few and the apartment was almost always dark.

By opening up the layout and carefully preserving corridors of illumination throughout the length of the space, the new design creates a bright, airy living space that maximizes views and flexibility.
